Skateboard Deck Made From Composite Decking
After a recent decking project, I was wondering what to do with some of the leftover boards and it dawned on me that the wide black composite decking I got from Cali Bamboo is the perfect width for a barefoot cruiser skateboard. After harvesting a pair of trucks from another longboard I had, I was hanging ten on my composite skateboard in no time. The composite decking itself is kinda heavy and makes for a very stable skateboard that rides like a boat. The composite decking is bare feet friendly so can ride with or without shoes. All and all I’m loving the solid feel of this cruiser and I’m thinking about making a longer one to give me some nice flex.
