My wife and I were recently invited to a trailer trash party at TrailerPark After Dark and this hat was the hit of the party. Everyone wanted to wear it and take selfies in it.

The layout is based on Danon Prosser’s video But I also show how to make the brim, how much material is required and also how to make the hat fit super snug. Oh and most importantly how to properly shotgun a beer in it! Yee haw!

The shape is based on the original Stetson “Boss of the Plains”, this straight shooter is fun to wear at work, church or most any formal event. It’s easy to make and kinda fun too! Thirsty? Drink a cold one and watch this video to learn how to make a beer box cowboy hat out of a few simple items.

(3) 18-pack beer or soda cartons
Elastic sports headband
Spray adhesive
Hot glue gun
Utility knife
Ruler
Pencil
Craft paper
(3) Beers (optional but highly recommended)
